ROB Studio is scripting enviroment for programming behavior of the small robotic arm. This project consists of two parts:

  • Realtime driver which is written in C language and is running under RTX real-time operating system. This driver receives sequences consisted of basic commands for setting joint angles and waiting times. Driver causes generating of pulse signal which directly controls servomotors in joints of robotic arm.
  • Programming environment is written in C# language and realizes the simple way of programming the behavior of robotic arm. It offers more sophisticated commands which are consequently tranlated to the essential scripting language. Environment computes inverse kinematics problem, solves the range of robotic arm, etc. Scripting in this environment is simple and easy and allows direct programming of robotic arm.
This project was realized as semestral project at the Brno University of Technology, Department of Control and Instrumentation.
